Chicago spaces, you gotta love 'em.
Evelyn Daitchman, owner of Axis of Evelyn, has opened a huge, multifaceted space for the creative crowd to lounge, work, eat, and play in. Open Secret Studios is part of her artistic vision to create a forum for artists to host shows and produce masterpieces. The entirely white 2-floor warehouse loft space features a kitchen, 90-car gated parking lot, loft area, and an area for screen printing and textile printing production and workshops.
Wall-to-wall white, minimalist decor, and exposed structures in the warehouse give an exciting feeling of incompleteness. Providing an inspiring space for projects and ventures that wouldn't ordinarily be possible, the location has room for fashion shows, large-scale photo shoots, and viewings of whole collections. At the present time, Open Secret is showing the Axis of Evelyn collection Tuesdays from 4pm-9pm and Saturdays from 11am-4pm.
