A Baltimore Abode by Amanda Austin
Thursday, November 7th, 2013
What was once an ice-cream and comic-book store is now a beautiful exhibition of the work done by Baltimore’s Amanda Austin Interiors. The Austin residence, located in the heart of the Federal District, is a lovely townhome that was customized from top to bottom by Amanda Austin herself. From the molding selections and cabinetry designs to the individual furniture and accessory selections, this home embodies her individual design style.
The project is the result of a collaboration between interior designer, architect, and builder. Ann Hagerty, of Ann Hagerty Architect & Associates, drafted and designed the structure of the new residence while Amanda’s brother in-law, Mark Austin, acted as general contractor. The outcome of this collaboration results in a lovely 3,300-square-foot masterpiece with unique, homey touches.
