Burberry Flagship Store

Mag Mile strolling Chicagoans have been watching with anticipation as the iconic Brit luxury brand Burberry erected its eye-catching Chicago flagship store. As of today, the newest example of a global store design concept developed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey is now open.
The concept blurs the physical and digital realms with a Burberry Retail Theatre feature that enable the broadcast of live events and content on the store walls. The Chicago store will be the first in the Americas to offer Burberry Bespoke, which allows one to customize a Burberry trench coat with a choice of 12 million designs. The store also features an in-store Burberry Beauty consultation counter (New York doesn't have one, yet) and limited edition outerwear, accessories and more.
The five-floor structure has a custom LED-illuminated black chrome and glass exterior façade, referencing the iconic Burberry check.
Christopher Bailey himself will be in town late November for some invite-only events to celebrate the opening. In the meantime, we've got some (window) shopping to do.
