craftslab Pop-Up Showroom
Tuesday, September 4th, 2012
Paris-dwelling Aya Iwata keeps tabs on design goings-on in her native Japan and via craftslab, which develops and promotes partnerships between artisans, designers and retailers, she gives us a chance to try crafter design products from around the world. Mostly, she's promoting French and Japanese modern goods made with trad techniques from SyuRo (metal boxes), Calenblosso (Handmade Japanese sandals from Osaka), Modderne Paris telephone skins of real wood and leather as well as handcrafted wallets and card holders. This month, craftslab pops-up as a shop at 25 Rue Charlot 75003 PARIS for Paris Design Week. There's a cocktail reception Sep 8 at 6pm.
