Dazed & Confused’s Banned Azealia Banks Cover
Thursday, August 16th, 2012
There's nothing like a little controversy to move some print magazines these days, and Dazed & Confused's latest cover design has it. Seven countries, the mag tweeted last week, have refused to stock the Brit fashion and music mag's latest issue featuring Harlem rapper and fashion plate Azealia Banks. While blowing up a condom suggestively in her Lanvin might be mildly titillating stuff for many of us, it's sparking some outrage in some parts of the world. You won't be able to pick it up at news stands in Singapore, Dubai, Malta, Switzerland, India or Thailand. If you think about it, that's somewhat silly considering this, after all, a come on to safe sex, something you'd think was being encouraged around the world.
