Event Recap | 9th Annual Stitch Masquerade Ball
Thursday, March 27th, 2014
Last month, the Illinois chapter of the International Interior Design Association gathered for its 9th annual STITCH Masquerade Ball. Though held in Chicago at the newly renovated Venue One, attendees were in a New York state of mind as they watched masked models slink down the catwalk at this year’s Broadway-themed fashion show. Interpretations of the theme “The Great White Way” were theatrically brought to life by local design firms who collaborated with sponsors to artfully create a collection of stunning masks. The result was a runway filled with as much excitement and grandeur as the golden age Broadway itself, with city lights and giant theatre marquees illuminating the street.
