Five Houses That Will Make You Say “Oh!”

In honor of our hometown girl Oprah just being named Forbes’ richest celebrity (again...), we take a look at the O House, which has absolutely nothing to do with Oprah, but we love it nonetheless. Philippe Stuebi Architekten led the design team on this modern home on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. The circular openings in the white concrete facade look out onto some pretty spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The gallery is made of round glass bricks, and the 25-meter pool stretches outdoors from inside the house. With the cool $165 mil she took in during the last year, Oprah could buy this stunning pad several times over, and if she wanted to round out her collection of O-shaped homes we'd recommend she take a look at these (we know you're reading, O).

The David and Gladys Wright House in Phoenix, Arizona, could use a deep-pocketed protector like Oprah: Frank Lloyd Wright's only Guggenheim-like circular house is being threatened with demolition.

The Villa Vals, in the mountainous village of Vals, Switzerland, was designed by Dutch architects Bjarne Mastenbroek and Christian Müller.

The Shell House in rural Karuizawa, Japan, was designed by Artechnic Architects.

Spanish firm Subarquitectura designed the 360 House in Madrid, Spain.
