Google’s Data Centers

If you're like us, you sometimes lie awake at night wondering what the Internet looks like, not the flatscreen version you can visit with your mouse, no the miles of cabling, the huge temperature controlled caverns of cloud drives, that kind of stuff. Well, Google, at this point, has its own massive infrastructure for cloud computing and web-based app running and it has gone to great lengths to show us just what it looks like. What's somewhat remarkable in the age of standardization and replication is just how much variety there is among these international data centers in terms of architecture and layout.
