Chicago, IL, August 6, 2014 - Design Bureau is pleased to announce Gracious House, a non-profit organization raising awareness of the epidemic occurrences of child abuse, neglect, and poverty throughout America.

Founded by M. Grace Sielaff, of M. Grace Designs, Gracious House was conceived after Sielaff’s many tours of Asia, where she was struck by the vast number of children suffering from poverty, child labor, physical abuse, and sexual abuse.

To raise awareness and support for abused children, Gracious House has partnered with Jim Hmuorvich, president and CEO of Prevent Child Abuse America, to produce Designer Showhouses. This semi-annual project will to serve as a platform for the broader interior and architectural industries to present innovative designs to highlight the home as a beautiful, safe, healing and nurturing environment.

Please join Design Bureau and Gracious House for the inaugural opening of Gracious House
