Instant Classic

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012

Polaroid's much-loved analog instant camera technology was a victim of the digital camera revolution—but you can still get the classic cameras and the instant film, though not at the local drugstore or camera store or... well, let's just say that it is very hard to get. Now, you can get the jacket, too. The Polaroid Classic line—presented by Impossible in collaboration with Polaroid releases legendary Polaroid products for the faithful few.
The latest addition is the Polaroid factory, a replica of the actual jacket worn by Polaroid factory works in the '70s and '80s. The Impossible folks tell us they had found a stash of deadstock versions at their factory in the Netherlands back in 2008, which sold out in minutes. The reissue features the color spectrum and Polaroid logo, naturally. For a few extra bucks, it comes with film, too.
