Who is Mister Black? According to his website, Mister Black is one cool dude.

"MISTER BLACK, 38 YEARS OLD, BRAZILIAN. MUSIC, ARTS AND MOTORCYCLES ARE SOME OF HIS PASSIONS. MISTER BLACK HAS LIVED FOR SOME YEARS IN SÃO PAULO. MISTER BLACK OFTEN RECEIVES HIS FRIENDS. MISTER BLACK PREFERS THE UNIQUE. MISTER BLACK IS NOT A MAN OF COMMONPLACE OR FORMULAS. MR. BLACK LIKES THE CUSTOMIZATION AND IS ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL."

Translation: Mister Black, (Mostra Black in Portuguese) is one of Brazil's most prestigious interior design shows. It is happening now until June 24th 2012,  in São Paulo, Brazil. Studio Guilherme Torres is hyping its space at the show, which we tend to think captures the attitude and outlook of this mysterious Mister Black—which makes sense as the character is their creation.

When young architect Guilherme Torres was invited to redesign the patio of a modernist house in Alto de Pinheiros area in São Paulo, he decided to create an imaginary resident named Mister Black. This alter ego of the professional, "a young art collector, passionate by music and a citizen of the world that loves to receive his friends" informed all his design decisions. The starting point for Torres was the wide Otto sofa, in leather, he designed himself. The eclectic designer mixes '50s lines, art from rising Brazilian stars, a reflecting pool and a white cube in marble to achieve effortless cool. And we'd say he's done well—we sure want to meet this guy Mister Black.
