Korean designer Seung Long Song writes that his Dami collection is named for the Korean verb meaning "put in," so it has a bit of a basket-like form. Song has designed Dami for various types of use—as a lamp, a table, an ottoman. The grill pattern that he applies to the eco-friendly material Valchromat, he says, enables the pieces to be both light and sturdy. Is it weird that they also make us a bit hungry?
