Nike unveiled the latest look for its decades-old home on Chicago's Magnificent Mile last week, and it didn't phone it in. The flagship store (a 50,000-square-foot, four-story retail destination) now hosts Nike's largest retail basketball collection and the brand's first fully dedicated digital hub. It also has Chicago exclusives such as logos for local high school and pro teams, historic Bears photos and a Michael Jordan shoe shrine of sorts.
Nike Chicago is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council for an anticipated LEED® Gold Certification and also offers the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program, enabling us to drop off old shoes to be recycled into courts, bags, shoes and more.
