In partnership with Russian creative agency YellowDog, Moscow-based designer Andrew Gorkovenko injects whimsical flair into a practical packaging solution for organic handmade pasta brand Pasta la Vista.
Each box stands upright, embodying an Italian chef (they even have names: meet Mario, Francesco, Giovanni, and Francesca). Each chef, it follows, must have their own hair style - and you catch a glimpse of their starchy locks where the noodles peek out from under the packaging's lid: a chef's hat.
So collect your cooks and line them up beside your burner as you set your water to boil. With their arms crossed and eyebrows raised, these boxes look ready to judge your culinary skills. And in case this Russian-designed Italian packaging isn't a sufficient mixing of cultures - while you twist that pasta around your fork, imagine Arnold Schwarzenegger bidding you farewell in SpanItalian.
