Plywood Office

Chicago design house Plywood Office emphasizes that its furniture is exquisitely produced but sold at a reasonable price. And yes, designer Chris Jamison, has no qualms about using plywood on pieces when it suits them. Why not? Plywood is much loved by some designers for its durability, versatility and availability. We're seeing it used more and more in interiors, too. Jamison 's latest pieces, recently featured at Wanted Design in New York City, aren't all about plywood. In fact, the Dennis desk is solid walnut and the Tealight Totem is available in concrete. But the Maiden Mirror makes use of bent plywood for its subtle curves. All are available for purchase online.
