Since this winter has been wonky on the weather front, it seems like we never put away our umbrellas. Black is the de-facto color of choice, but SquidLondon’s color-changing umbrellas will stop people dead in their galoshes at the sight of the technicolor hues that pop up with each raindrop.
Viviane Jaeger and Emma-Jayne Parkes, the London College of Fashion graduates behind the design brand, drew their inspiration for the umbrellas from drip painter Jackson Pollock. Talk about practical and artsy. The only hitch with these "Squidarellas": patiently saving them for a rainy day. But if the rest of winter keeps up its weird track record, you won't have to wait very long.
