At this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, Arketipo’s booth revealed a room that demonstrated innovative takes on contemporary trends, from the botanic wallpaper to the rustic table presentation. There, the Florence-based sofa manufacturer strove to re-adapt its craft into “accessories that can bear comparison with upholstered furniture.”

Atelier, a New York-based showroom, brings that concept together as the exclusive Arketipo dealer. The table and sideboard cabinet pictured here, designed by long-time collaborators Maurizio Manzoni and Roberto Tapinassi, blend with the room’s deep blue undertones through classical and sleek motifs. Arketipo’s Leonardo leather aligns the cabinet and drawer doors to balance the room around the various ornaments featured on top of them.

The chairs around the table, designed by Mauro Lipparini, wear similar vegetable-tanned leather on their backs, allowing the booth’s visitors to observe the relationship between the fabric and furniture. Rarely does luxury get so cozy.
