Design Bureau is excited to extend congratulations to the winners of this year's Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. Now in it's fifth year, the 2013 awards received nearly 700 entries from more than 60 countries. The winners were announced during a ceremony at London's Farmiloe Building on September 12, where 600 of the most influential architects, designers and hospitality operators from around the world gathered to celebrate excellence in restaurant and bar design.

The ceremony included a unique pop-up bar and restaurant concept featuring five different themed bar areas created by past Best Restaurant and Best Bar award winners, and an in-house design team utilized only white products supplied by sponsors and partners of this year’s awards to craft a sleek look for the event.

This year's overall winner for Best Bar was Foster +  Partners' Atrium Champagne Bar in London, and the victorious overall Best Restaurant was NORM Architects' Höst, located in Denmark.
