Specific Media, London | Studio Tour

Friday afternoon rock concerts, a multi-media training room, and of course a dedicated yoga studio and gym to help manage workweek stress are just a few of the perks of working at Specific Media. You'll be hearing more about this global interactive media company if you don't know it already. The California-headquartered Specific recently acquired MySpace but only on the condition that Justin "Sexyback" Timberlake remain an investor. Its new Central Saint Giles, London digs, the largest of its international offices, promotes collaboration via a smartly designed work-life space courtesy of New York-based TPG Architecture. Between the natural light, a cozy cubbies for meeting, it looks like a great place to spend the nine-to-five. "Specific Media challenged us to create a collaborative environment that also leveraged the space's amazing views,” says Michel Fiechter, TPG Architecture’s Partner in Charge. “The success of this project is rooted in our client’s approach to its professionals, which is highly collaborative.”

Under consideration is an expansion of Specific Media’s Los Angeles office to accommodate its new MySpace operating team members. If these new London digs is in any way a sign of what’s to come, I can only imagine what TPG and Timberlake will dream up for its LA quarters—something tells us a place to shoot hoops might be under consideration.
