Motorsport fans, rejoice! Now you can bring famous sports car design right into your living room.
It all started in 2010, when Anthony Jannarelly and Benoit Fraylon, two French auto designers, decided to make racecar design part of home decor. Under the brand Racing & Emotion, they created two lines of retro modern chairs that are constructed to look just like famous racecars. Walt Disney's Herbie, Steve McQueen's Porsche 917 from the movie Le Mans, Lancia Martini Racing, and Ayrton Senna's famed helmet all served as inspiration. Each chair is even painted, upholstered, and constructed by craftsmen at Le Mans, the world's oldest active sports car race in endurance racing.
Even if you aren't a fan of auto racing, the chairs would still look cool in any home. Sexy racecar lines are hard to resist.
